THE BIGGEST SQUARESPACE MYTH DEBUNKED + ACTUAL FACT

Maybe you’ve been banging your head against your keyboard for a while…trying desperately to figure out WordPress. All because someone out there told you that it’s the only way to have a custom website.

WRONG.

Perhaps you’ve already heard of Squarespace and been tempted to make the switch. You might have even heard that Squarespace is a much easier-to-follow system all around and would save you loads of time and frustration.

But…you’re still sticking with WordPress, no matter how crazy it makes you because someone out there spread a rumor that Squarespace can’t be customized.

THE BIGGEST SQUARESPACE MYTH: YOU CAN’T CUSTOMIZE TEMPLATES SO YOUR SITE WILL LOOK LIKE EVERYONE ELSE’S.

If you’re still looking for a much better website solution for your business, you’ll be delighted to know that that’s all a myth and nothing more than that. It’s simply not true at all.

FACT: YOU CAN CUSTOMIZE ANY SQUARESPACE TEMPLATE

It’s true! Rest assured that it’s totally possible to have a completely unique website using Squarespace.

Let me prove it to you. I’ve designed my own site using the Rally template as the backbone for my website. Here’s what the Rally demo template looks like.

And here’s my website. Do these look the same to you in any shape or form? Of course not. Point made.

I could literally stop there because I’ve proven my point. But I’ll go on and tell you that ANY of the Squarespace templates can be customized to YOUR VISION for your site.

In fact, the only reason those demo templates exist is to make it super easy for those who completely lack tech or design skills. Squarespace made it easy for those people to still be able to set up their own websites quickly and easily.

But for those who want their own personalized look, customization is fully possible. You just need some imagination and design skills.

However, keep in mind that the most flexible templates come from the Brine family. So that means that while you can customize any template in Squarespace, you can do much more with Brine templates. For more details on that, check out this post: WHY I ONLY USE BRINE TEMPLATES FOR WEB DESIGN IN SQUARESPACE
