PHOTOGRAPHERS' EVENT ON A MICRO FLOWER FARM

Earlier this month, I attended a very fun event held by Snap Click Photographers at The Saol Project.

The Saol Project is a micro flower farm and floral design studio just outside of Guelph, Ontario. What’s amazing is that 30% of their profits go back into their community through charities and programs that they partner with. Talk about giving back!

It’s owned by a very lovely person named Hannah Briggs and I got to take some lovely photos of her too.

The SCP meetup was organized by Dana (who’s also a photographer) and was meant to create a day for photographers alike to get together, talk shop, and snap photos of each other. We, photographers, need branding pictures too. 😉

It ended up being a day filled with lots of fun, laughter, and community building. I can’t tell you enough how important it is to connect with other people in the same field of profession. We all need people in our corner who relate and understand exactly what we’re going through.

I personally love taking photos so much, I’m up for it anytime. But this was my first time doing it with a bunch of other photographers. And the experience was amazing. I definitely look forward to doing it again sometime.

And here are some photos of Hannah.
