BEST RESOURCES TO CREATE STUNNING SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS

As an entrepreneur, you’ll find that you’ll need to produce a lot of graphics on a regular basis for your social media posts, blog posts or any other promos. Sometimes it can be tough to continually come up with fresh new designs (especially if you’re not a designer). It can also be time consuming to be always on the search for sources of good quality stock photos. Not to mention, it can get expensive if you’re always paying for them!

So I’ve created this quick guide to save you a lot of time and money in that department. I’ve collected a list of my favourite resources that make creating graphics a snap. Once you get to know these programs or apps, you’ll even find it fun and exciting to make your own beautiful social media posts.

Don’t be surprised if you become a little addicted to designing because a lot of the tools I’m going to tell you about do not even require any special tech or design skills. So literally anyone can learn to use them and feel like a creative superhero!

Most of my suggested tools and resources are also free or very inexpensive to use. Some of them will have a monthly subscription option with a free month trial. The point is you have plenty of choices and you don’t need to break the bank to have nice graphics.

So I hope you have fun exploring the options below!

GRAPHIC DESIGN TOOLS

First I’m going to share a list of my top online tools that you can use to easily make your own designs or customize existing photos with.

1. Canva

You may already know Canva as this is one of the most popular tools out there. And for good reason!

It’s a design tool that lets you create or edit any images in a very simple-to-learn process. It also has a ton of pre-designed templates that you can use if you really want to save time. I seriously use this all the time!

2. Easil

This one is similar to Canva but their templates look quite different. The images here are quite modern and the interface is a bit different but also fun.

3. Stencil

This is another option for creating images for social media, but I find that the free version is a little limited. You might want to check out the paid version. The nice thing is having multiple options. Let’s say you’re looking for a ready-to-go post and you can’t find what you like in one of these apps, then you have a couple more to check out. That’s why I’m giving you the extra options.

4. Befunky

Another really cool tool that lets you edit photos and graphics easily. This one offers slightly different options than the rest. It lets you do things like enhance the lighting, colours and even edit details like makeup touch-ups.

I use this one when I can’t do certain things in the other apps. I love having this option and it’s totally free to use. It’s fun, easy and pretty powerful. Give it a try.

5. Pixlr

This tool is amazing and is a bit more advanced than the others mentioned above. It’s basically an online version of Photoshop but it’s free!

Seriously, if you need to add some extra super cool touches to your graphics that you can’t do with the other tools, Pixlr is worth exploring. You can basically customize your images any way you want and create graphics from scratch if you so desire.

If you’re not sure how to use it, browse through some YouTube videos and learn. You’ll find a lot of tutorials that will help you understand how to use it better.

There you have it! I hope this makes your life a little easier when it comes to creating your own graphics for social media posts.
